Night Scenes
On a rare evening out, I captured a few scenes of Sevilla.

Plaza de Espana
The Plaza and semi-circular buildings were created for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. However, the Stock Market crash put quite a damper on the event. Surrounding the Plaza is the Parque Maria Luisa. The Plaza is lined with benches and regional scenes painted on ceramic tiles. The buildings and bridges in the Plaza are beautiful. The Plaza also was used as the Naboo in Star Wars movies.

The Real Alcazar
The Royal residence of kings for centuries, contains gardens, patios and beautiful architecture.

The Cathedral and La Giralda
The Cathedral includes a beautiful bell tower, La Giralda topped with a bronze weathervane. Instead of steps to the top of the tower, there is a ramp, which made for a much easier climb.

Scenes from La Giralda
These views are from windows on the way up the tower, and then a few scenes from the top.

Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza
One of Spain's oldest bullrings, there is a museum beneath the seats.
